Can I set up discounts, promotions, & loyalty programs through the POS system?

Yes, you can set up discounts and promotions through the POS system. There are 2 ways to set up a discount. To give a discount during a transaction:

1. Scan the item(s) the customer wants to purchase.
2. Select discount, then choose the discount amount you wish to give.
3. Once you have selected the discount amount, proceed with the transaction as normal.

To set up a new discount on specific products for a specific amount of time:

1. On your EkiKart app home page, go to Manage discounts then select add.
2. Create the discount, select the discount amount, and dates you want the discount to be active between.
3. Select the items you wish to include in the discount. When you scan one of the items included in the discount during a transaction, the discount will be applied automatically.

At this moment in time, you cannot set up loyalty programs on the POS system.
