Can I set up discounts, promotions, & loyalty programs through the POS system?
Yes, you can set up discounts and promotions through the POS system. There are 2 ways to set up a discount. To give a discount during a transaction:
- Scan the item(s) the customer wants to purchase.
- Select discount, then choose the discount amount you wish to give.
- Once you have selected the discount amount, proceed with the transaction as normal.
To set up a new discount on specific products for a specific amount of time:
- On your EkiKart app home page, go to Manage discounts then select add.
- Create the discount, select the discount amount, and dates you want the discount to be active between.
- Select the items you wish to include in the discount. When you scan one of the items included in the discount during a transaction, the discount will be applied automatically.
At this moment in time, you cannot set up loyalty programs on the POS system.
