Can I add a sub-category to a category for my products?

Method 1: Add sub-categories through the EkiKart App:

This is the main method of adding sub-categories to your categories.

Step 1: Access Manage Products.

Start by navigating to "Manage Products" on the EkiKart app homepage.

Step 2: Select Category.

Within the "Manage Products" section, locate and select the category to which you want to add a sub-category.

Step 3: Add Sub-Category.

Once you've selected the category, select the "+" icon. Enter the details for the new sub-category, such as its name and any other relevant information. After entering the details, select "Add" to create the sub-category.

Step 4: Repeat for Additional Sub-Categories.

If you want to add more sub-categories to the same category, go back to that category and repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have added all your desired sub-categories.

By following these steps, you'll be able to successfully add sub-categories to list your products in the EkiKart app.

Method 2: Add sub-categories through EkiKart.com:

Step 1: Log in to EkiKart.com.

Login to your EkiKart account with your credentials.

Step 2: Access Your Store Panel.

Single Store Location: Select “Go to Store Panel” then select “My Store.” Then on the menu select “Products.”

Multiple Store Locations: Select “Location.” Your store locations will be displayed. Select the “View” icon next to the location you want. Then select “Sign in to Location Panel.” Then select “Products.” Then on the menu select “Categories.”

Step 3: Access Categories

Select the category that you wanted to add a sub-category (child category) to.

Step 4: Add a Sub-Category.

Select “Add Another Child Category” if the option is available. Enter the details. Select “Save” when done.

Please note: You can add multiple sub-categories to a main category.

In cases where the system does not allow you to create a child category for the system generated categories, please opt to just create a new category. Alternatively, you can create a sub-category on the EkiKart App.
