The Wi-Fi signal on my POS device is weak. How can I improve it?
Thank you for contacting EkiKart customer support. Sorry to hear that you are having issues with weak Wi-Fi signal. Here’s what you can do to improve it:
Step 1: Check Network Speed
EkiKart recommends a minimum download speed of 100Mbps (Megabits per second) and an upload speed of 1GB (Gigabytes). You may need to consider upgrading your Wi-Fi to ensure optimal performance.
Step 2: Verify Network Connection.
Contact your network provider to ensure there are no disruptions to the network.
Step 3: Restart router.
Try restarting your router and to see if it will improve the POS system’s connection to the network.
If your device is too far away from the router:
Install a Wi-Fi extender to boost the signal in areas with weak coverage.
If Wi-Fi signal is still weak:
Use an Ethernet cable to connect the POS device directly to the router. Then reassess the signal.
If you are still having issues with your network strength, please contact our support team on +1 (201) 685 4858 for further assistance. Alternatively, you can submit a request through our help center.
