Can I set up discounts, promotions, & loyalty programs through the POS system?
Thank you for reaching out to EkiKart customer support. I'm delighted to inform you that you can set up discounts and promotions through the POS system. Let me guide you through the two different methods to set up discounts:
Method 1: Give a discount to cart during a transaction:
Step 1: Add Item(s) to Cart.
Scan the item(s) the customer wants to purchase so they appear in the cart.
Step 2: Select Discount.
Underneath the cart, select "Discount."
Step 3: Select Discount Amount.
Choose the discount amount you wish to give the customer. This discount amount will be applied to all items in the cart.
Step 4: Complete Transaction.
Select “Pay” and proceed with the transaction as usual.
Following these steps, you'll be able to apply a discount to the customer's purchase.
Method 2: Set Up a Discount on Specific Products:
Step 1: Access Manage Discounts.
On your EkiKart app homepage, navigate to "Manage Discounts".
Step 2: Create a New Discount. Select "Add" to create a new discount. Name the discount, specify the discount amount (in percentage) and then select dates you want the discount to be active between.
Step 3: Add Products to the Discount. After creating the discount, return to "Manage Discounts" and select the new discount. Select "Add" to include products in the discount. Then select the items you wish to include in the discount.
When you scan one of the included items during a transaction, the discount will be automatically applied to the product in the cart.
