How do I activate a gift card for a customer?

Step 1: Access Register.

Open your EkiKart app and select “Register.”

Step 2: Select Gift Card.

On the Register menu, select "Gift Card".

Step 3: Scan or Enter Barcode

Use the scanner to scan the barcode on the gift card using or manually enter the barcode number.

Step 4: Set Amount (if applicable).

If it's a variable gift card, you'll be prompted to enter the amount your customer wants to load onto the card. For fixed gift cards, once the barcode is scanned, you'll be directed back to the cart automatically.

Step 5: Complete Payment.

Proceed with the payment process. Once payment has gone through successfully the gift card will be activated automatically, ready for immediate use.
